Teaching

Teaching is an incredibly important part of being an artist, as it allows us not only to pass on what we have been fortunate enough to learn, but to challenge each other, and ourselves, to grow in our art.

My focus as a teacher is giving students the tools to make the kind of music they are interested in and to support them in developing their own sound and voice. The key to that goal is developing both a technical command of the instrument while at the same time expanding one’s musical imagination. Through engaged teaching and a great deal of listening, I strive for exactly that.

Additionally I am able to take on a limited number of students in my studio at the Musikschule "Fanny Hensel".
